What do we know now?

Over the last year, the Our Places project team has been bringing together all the information we know now, as well as predictions for what we think might happen.

Through this process, we have identified potential opportunities for new housing developments or where we can add to existing developed areas.

This is informed by projected growth and changing demographics in the region, the impact of natural hazards and a changing climate, aspirations for economic development, cultural and conservation considerations, and existing plans and strategies.

We now want to have a conversation with local communities about what we are proposing and if we have got this right.
